Every login you have, in one place

Claude Code and Codex can each run on more than one login. Type claude@work in any shard, and each shard shows which login it runs on and how much of that plan's limits you have used.

A lot of people have more than one login for the same agent: one that work pays for, and one of their own. Normally that means signing out and back in, or keeping a second config folder and an environment variable you have to remember. In crystl, each login is an account, kept in its own folder.

Add one in settings, agents > agents. crystl makes the folder and opens a shard there, and you run /login or codex login to finish. From then on, type claude@work in any shard to start Claude Code on the work login. A plain claude still uses your usual one. The line at the bottom of each shard shows the account it runs on, plus how much of that plan's five-hour and seven-day limits you have used.

crystl never reads or stores your login. The agent signs in and keeps its own credential, and crystl stores only each account's name and folder.

Why it matters

Work and personal on one Mac

Claude Code and Codex can each have several accounts. Each one is a separate login in its own folder, so you never sign out of one to use the other.

Pick the account as you start

Type claude@work or codex@personal in any shard. File > new shard lists each agent with its accounts too, such as claude · work.

Always see which login is running

The line at the bottom of each shard names its account. Click it to rename the account, add another one, or see all of them.

Plan limits before you hit them

Each shard shows how much of its plan's five-hour and seven-day limits you have used, such as 5h 42% · 7d 18% used. The agent activity panel shows when each limit resets.

Agents check before they fan out

crystl usage prints the same numbers, so an agent can check them before it starts more workers. A worker stopped by a limit says when it can run again.

Your login stays with the agent

crystl stores only each account's name and folder. The usage numbers come from what Claude Code and Codex already report, and crystl never calls Anthropic or OpenAI for them.

Frequently asked questions

Which agents can have more than one account?
Claude Code and Codex. Each account is its own login in its own folder. Add one in settings, agents > agents, or with crystl agent account add, then type claude@label or codex@label in any shard.
Does crystl read or store my login?
No. The agent signs in and keeps its own credential, the same way it does outside crystl. crystl stores only each account's name and folder. Removing an account takes it out of crystl, and its folder and login stay on disk.
Where do the usage numbers come from?
From the agents themselves. Claude Code passes its plan limits to its statusline command on a Pro or Max plan, and Codex writes them to its session log. crystl reads those numbers and never calls Anthropic or OpenAI for them. If you already have your own Claude Code statusline, settings shows a line to paste in so the meter gets its numbers. See usage in the docs.
Will crystl move work to another account when I hit a limit?
No. A worker that hits a limit stops until that limit resets, and its row in the agent activity panel says when that is. crystl never moves work to another account to get around a limit.
Do I need the Guild for accounts?
No. Accounts, the usage meter and crystl usage are free on every tier.

More features

Gems & Shards

Gems, shards, and the crystal rail keep every project one click away.

just-ask control

Ask for what you need and your agent does the clicking: text staged for copying, a button that runs the command, a task added, work booked for tomorrow.

Floating Cards

See what every agent needs from you, the moment it needs it.

Agent Activity Panel

One live view of every agent across all your gems: who's working, who's idle, and where tokens are going.

Schedule Agents

Launch a fresh agent at a set time (once, daily, or weekdays). Pick the gem, agent, model, and prompt; crystl fires it on schedule.

Automation (Sequences)

Automate the work you keep doing by hand. Write the job down once and let a schedule, a file landing, or a watched URL run it for you.

Parallel Sessions

Run several agents in the same project, each in its own git worktree.

Hero Shards

Summon a single hero as a shard (its own agent, model, and persona) without a quest party.

View Modes

Read a session as a terminal, as a conversation beside it, or as a conversation filling the window. The terminal keeps running either way.

History Navigator

Browse, jump through, and search every session: conversation and tool calls.

Token Tracking

Track token burn per shard, estimate turns left, and reclaim context window by disabling heavy plugins and skills.

Workbench

A slide-out task list in every project, backed by a WORKBENCH.md the agent reads and writes with you.

Markdown Editor

Read any .md rendered, with Mermaid diagrams drawn, and switch to the source to edit. Agents can open docs for you from the CLI.

Keys

Agents check which API keys they can reach and ask for a missing one on a masked card. Values go to your Keychain, never to the agent.

Prompt Integration

Facet Inserts give you one-click access to saved prompts, commands, and shortcuts.

Agent Files in Your Project Folder

Your agent setup as plain markdown committed with your code. Every agent reads the same files, every clone gets them, and nothing is locked inside crystl.

Agent File Editor

Create, edit, and manage CLAUDE.md, rules, skills, and agent config files with a block editor, file chooser, and project optimizer.

Project Optimizer

Scan your project for gaps in agent configuration (missing files, incomplete docs, oversized code, and setup issues) with one-click fixes.

Skills Library

Browse and import agentic skills that teach agents like Claude Code or Codex new tricks: code review, testing, deployment, and more.

cavrn terminal

The terminal as structured data: every turn, tool call, result, and table captured as agent-readable metadata. Drawn fast on the GPU with Metal.

Remote Development

Full crystl integration over SSH: approval cards, file relay, and click-to-open on remote machines.

Open Models

Run open models locally or hosted, orchestrate them with frontier agents, and cut token costs.

Agent Orchestration

One agent spawns, supervises, and merges the work of many: a control room for a team of coding agents.

crystl quest

Assemble a party of specialized agents. Each brings unique skills, coordinates in shared chat, and executes in parallel.

Screenshot Bar

Drag recent screenshots into the terminal. Spotlight-powered, always up to date.

Copy Bar

A one-click copy bar under the terminal. Agents stage text, you click Copy. Editable, up to 10 tabs, free.
